Sabrina Stratford
Joining me today is Sabrina Stratford, a former Global Business Development Manager for software companies like IBM and Microsoft. Sabrina left the IT world to become the first Domestic Project Manager to fight human trafficking with the nonprofit Love Justice International.
She shares her first experience on hearing a real story of Human Trafficking and how Covid-19 made her think about what was she doing with her life. What was she doing in the IT world? Was she making the progress she wanted to make?
We delve into her experience fighting human trafficking in Alaska and the history of why Anchorage is a hub for human trafficking today. We talk about signs to look for and how to get involved in the fight against trafficking at your local level. Sabrina also tells us how we can monitor our kids online and protect them from being victims of various internet world threats that exist in this era, in places as seemingly innocent as game room chats.
Sabrina recently completed a TEDx Talk on this topic in Colorado and we will update the show notes with the link when its live.
